Ken Leeser, Vice President and Shane Barringer, Account Manager.
Ken’s leadership in the healthcare marketplace has been consistently proven with over 20 successful years in executive marketing and sales responsibilities, especially in the medical diagnostics and pharmaceutical industries. He has broad experience in both hospital and office based medicine, where he has done significant work in brand development, strategy and architecture. brandsymbol healthcare clients are always appreciative of Ken’s attention to detail and passion for client service.
Shane’s extensive background in technology comes from working for five+ years as an account executive for Verizon Wireless, where he had a specialized focus on Business to Business sales. He has recently moved back to Charlotte from New York where he spent two years helping to oversee the Outside Sales program for Verizon. He is an avid coffee geek who always starts the day with a triple espresso. Shane enjoys collecting and listening to records (because music just sounds better on vinyl), trying out new craft beer, playing disc golf (and getting better each time!), and dreaming of ways to make the world a better place. He also is currently learning to write apps for smartphones. The Charlotte native and his wife, Emily, have a wonderful 3 1/2 year old daughter, Stella, who is full of personality.

Meredith Adams is a recent Appalachian State University graduate, majoring in advertising and art. Before graduating in December, Meredith was an active member of Appalachian’s NSAC competition team, Appalachian Advertisers, and Chi Omega Fraternity. When she’s not checking in, updating her status, tweeting, or pinning; Meredith enjoys painting and writing. Originally from Greensboro, North Carolina, Meredith is excited to be a new resident of the Queen City.
Welcome Winter Interns!
Bethany White is a sophomore at Queens University of Charlotte and is double majoring in Psychology and Organizational Communications. She is very active at Queens as an NCAA Division II cross country and indoor/outdoor track participant, a member of Psi Chi (psychology honor society) and many other clubs and organizations. She plans to study abroad in Ireland next spring and her ultimate goal is to pursue her Master’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology.
Bryce Miller is a senior at UNC Charlotte and is looking forward to graduating this spring with a major in Communications Studies and a minor in Psychology. When she’s not serving up food and slinging drinks at Heist Brewery in NoDa, she prefers to spend her time on the yoga mat or on hiking trips as long as there is lots of bug spray involved. Bryce is originally from the Charlotte area and is excited to be planning a move to Dallas after graduation.
brandsymbol names VuPoint for Elo Touch Solutions
brandsymbol was recently engaged by Elo Touch Solutions to develop a name for their new innovative patient terminal for in-room ‘infotainment’ and light clinical use. Elo designs and manufactures highly engineered solutions that connect and protect data and power. The company serves customers in more than 1150 countries in a variety of industries including automotive, data communication systems, consumer electronics, telecommunications, aerospace, defense and marine, medical, energy and lighting.

Welcome Oswaldo!
brandsymbol is proud to welcome Oswaldo Palma to our team as our new Project Manager.
Oswaldo, the best dressed brandsymbol employee who is also bilingual, is originally from Ecuador and moved to Charlotte eleven years ago. He went to Myers Park High School and graduated from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco with a graphic design degree. He recently moved back to Charlotte because he was ready for a new move and so he could be closer to his family. Oswaldo believes that everything is better when it is well designed. His hobbies include discovering new restaurants and ideas in suburban Charlotte and listening to people’s stories. His favorite song is Call Me Maybe. (Maybe?)
